Sports Field Specialist

To maintain immaculate sports fields and commercial properties throughout the DFW area.

How much?  As much as Texas loves its high school football.  That's a lot.  We know that the difference between feeling like a professional athlete and a high school walk-on is often the quality of the playing surface. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Receive, Plan, and execute all cultural practices for mobile maintenance accounts and 1 off cultural projects (jobs won by our sales team to perform JUST cultural practices)
2. Receive, Plan, and execute fertility/IPM programs for mobile maintenance accounts and 1 off fertility/IPM projects (jobs won by our sales team to perform JUST fertility/IPM applications)
3. Ability to learn and grasp an understanding of google sheets/gmail/monday.com and other software used by Sports Field Solutions.
4. Ability to gain Pesticide Applicators License through TDA - (SFS will pay for license/testing).
5. Driving a company truck with the ability to pull trailers with equipment loaded to jobs to complete
6. Equipment Includes - Tractors, Aerators, Topdressers, Skid Steer, Broadcast Spreaders, Boom Sprayers, Drag Machines, Verticutters, Painters.
7. Ability to communicate with Customers on an as needed basis - sometimes daily. The majority of this is done through reports filled out daily.
8. When time allows, help train maintenance staff on "the basics" of sports field maintenance - not just landscape maintenance. 
9. Participate in tournaments on a volunteer basis.
10. Assist when needed on the mobile maintenance team through their weekly schedules.
11. Ability to order products through vendors - Fertilizer, Pesticides, Sand for topdressing, Seed, etc.
12. Responding to fleet services - truckers - and coordinating the delivery of topdressing sand.
