As a Sales Manager, you will engage in a rewarding combination of strategic planning, team leadership, and customer relationship management. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and mentoring a team of sales representatives to achieve substantial sales growth.
- Developing actionable sales strategies and annual budgets that prioritize company goals.
- Overseeing sales operations in various territories while coaching your team to implement effective sales techniques.
- Collaborating with the Senior Vice President of Wholesale to create and execute customer-focused pricing strategies.
- Crafting compelling messaging that resonates with our clientele, along with delivering insightful sales reports and leading training sessions.
Required Skills
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in commercial, PCO, and industrial lubricant sales.
- A minimum of 3 years in a sales management capacity.
- Previous exposure to the oil and gas industry, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and negotiation capabilities, both written and verbal.
- Basic mathematical proficiency for various calculations such as discounts, commissions, and profit/loss analysis.
- A willingness to travel within the region as required.
Qualifications
While a Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates displaying significant industry experience will also be considered.
