Service Plus is seeking experienced A Commercial Kitchen Equipment Repair Technicians to service a growing customer base with commercial kitchen equipment both in and out of warranty. Our service territory covers most of New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and parts of New York. This is an excellent opportunity to join the leading Commercial Kitchen Equipment Repair Company in the state.

As a Commercial Kitchen Appliance Technician, you will have the opportunity to repair and service Ranges, Fryers, Salamanders, Griddles, Charbroilers, Stock Pot Ranges, Pizza Ovens, Deck Broilers, Chophouse Broilers, Convection Ovens, Steamers, Combi Ovens, Heated Cabinets, Tilting Skillets, Kettles, and much more.

Our diverse customer base includes hospitals, restaurants, nursing homes, pizzerias, deli's, banquet halls, corporate cafeterias, fire departments, and any other establishments with commercial kitchens.

Our office is located in Flanders, NJ and candidates will be required to travel to our office for training. After the training period is over, a company vehicle will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Providing timely and quality repairs of customer's kitchen equipment
• Maintaining high-quality customer service and care
• Promoting additional products and services, such as preventative maintenance plans
• Providing knowledgeable and courteous repair service
• Maintaining truck stock inventory within the prescribed company guidelines and standards
• Following the truck maintenance schedule and keeping a clean, organized truck

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong plumbing, mechanical, and electrical knowledge
• Knowledge of the installation and diagnostics of commercial kitchen equipment, preferred but not required for the right candidate
• Working knowledge of tools and test equipment
• Ability to perform accurate repair of customer product
• Ability to follow directions and specific process steps to ensure quality workmanship
• Flexibility to work variable and flexible hours, including overtime
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Compensation:

• Apprentice level technician starting at 40K yearly, and up to 100K yearly for A level technicians, all based upon experience.
