POSITION SUMMARY: Oversee all day to day operations of assigned projects in the Field in conjunction with the Project Manager and the Project Plan. Maintain clear communication with the Customer, Project Manager and Construction Manager with daily updates on the status of the project. Work collectively and cooperatively with all Department Managers, Directors and Coordinators during the course of the project.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
§ Establish, Educate, Promote and Encourage safe work practices in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures tailored around OSHA standards for the good of all, directly and indirectly, involved with our field projects.
§ Supervise assigned Projects in accordance with the Project Managers Plan of Execution
o Monitor and Control project to ensure compliance with Project Plan
o Execute project in accordance with Project Plan and clearly communicate changes or delays during project life cycle to Project Manager
§ Conduct all onsite construction meetings for assigned Projects
o Daily contractor meetings
§ Manage, Complete and Submit all Time Sheets for assigned Projects
§ Manage all Sub-Contractors and Vendors for your assigned Projects
§ Manage all equipment, gases and rentals for your assigned Projects
§ Manage all associated job costs and ensure current on time information is being submitted to Project Manager daily thorough out the Project life cycle.
§ Complete “Lesson Learned Registry” at end of project with Project Manager and Construction Manager for each assigned project
§ Complete performance evaluation sheets at the end of the project on each crew member assigned to your project
§ Attend close out projects meeting onsite for each assigned project with PM and Customer
§ Attend Internal Construction meetings as appointed by Management
o Discuss ways to improve project performances to be more efficient, reduce cost and increase productivity
o Discuss upcoming projects assigned to and ensure all project needs are met
o Set project goals for upcoming projects
§ Lead & Train your site management team
o Develop General Foreman’s and Lead men in management and leadership skills.
