Earned Value Management System Analyst - Remote | WFH
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Earned Value Management (EVM) System Analyst to become a vital part of our team. This position is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in project controls and earned value management within a reputable organization. You will play a key role in championing best practices in planning, scheduling, budgeting, financial analysis, cost control, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development, coordination, tracking, and execution of project controls for Capital and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) projects, ensuring adherence to Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies.
- Act as the Primavera P6 system administrator, managing:
- Security audits, user access, and code field maintenance.
- Maintenance of the Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS).
- Oversee monthly project reporting utilizing EVM system tools and implement approved baseline changes.
- Facilitate the uploading of updates, including budget, labor offsets, and contingency files into the financial system.
- Conduct monthly contingency reconciliations using Power BI and support quarterly Long-Range Plan (LRP) reconciliations to align systems.
- Collaborate with project planning teams to ensure effective coordination of the upcoming fiscal year's budget and planning efforts.
- Assist in identifying and analyzing project performance trends, proposing enhancements to processes.
- Maintain and update Power BI reports and data sets to ensure accurate and timely project tracking.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to uphold project controls standards and expectations.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, accompanied by 7 years of experience in financial management, budgeting, or risk analysis within a large organizational structure.
- Alternatively, an AA degree with 9 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED complemented by 11 years of relevant experience.
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Comprehensive experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and Primavera P6, including system administration responsibilities.
