Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to support our finance and operations teams in driving financial excellence. This role involves analyzing financial data, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and providing insights to improve accuracy and profitability. Collaboration is essential as you will work closely with regional and division leaders to prepare annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and enhance business processes. While this position is remote, candidates should be based in South Carolina, North Carolina, or Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide training to operations and support staff on key business drivers and metrics.
- Develop measurable goals, financial dashboards, and client-facing reports.
- Recommend actions to improve financial performance and profitability.
- Act as a catalyst for continuous improvement in business processes and procedures.
- Take on ad hoc projects as needed to support the finance team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Regional Operations Support Teams.
- Manage monthly billing functions, including generating reports and providing necessary documentation.
- Prepare and analyze month-end reports for internal teams and clients.
- Track and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable (AR).
- Conduct weekly, monthly, and annual forecasting with a target of less than a 5% variance.
- Participate in client meetings and calls to discuss financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required; MBA or CPA is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience in finance, with a proven track record of growth and advancement.
- Ability to effectively manage relationships across multiple layers of the organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to present to various management levels.
- High proficiency in Excel, with the ability to manage large datasets and develop complex financial models.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to set goals and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional image.
- Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time.
