Finance Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of finance professionals. Oversees the collection and analysis of financial information for an organization. Being a Finance Supervisor monitors the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Finance Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Finance Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Finance Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Description of Duties & Responsibilities:

    Communicates changes and decisions appropriately with staff and stakeholders.

    Manages the reconciliation of child support payments

    Manages end of the month reconciliation and necessary project financial reports for Project Director.

    Manages bank relationship and activities for project operation.

    Prepare the Reconciliation Spreadsheet.

    Generate Bank Reports and reconcile all bank accounts.

    Process bank return items (insufficient funds) and stop payments.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Skills/Requirements:

    Fluent in written and spoken English.

    Experience using Microsoft Windows with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office software products.

    Must be proficient in data entry skills including keyboard, mouse and 10-key pad.

    Analytical Skills – Relating and comparing data from different sources, identifying issues, getting relevant information, and identifying other ways of doing things.

    Attendance & Punctuality – Consistently at work and on time; ensuring work responsibilities are covered when absent; arriving at meetings and appointments on time.

    Managing People – Developing the skills of employees through development activities related to current and future jobs; motivating employees to develop themselves.

    Cost Consciousness – Exercising fiscal responsibility in relation to budgets and resources.

    Dependability – Consistently meeting the day-to-day demands of the job.

    Problem Solving – Generating and/ or recognizing solutions for work-related problems; working effectively with others to resolve problems.

    Education and/or Experience:

    Two-year college degree, preferably in a business field, and one-year prior supervisory experience

    OR

    An equivalent combination of education and work experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the work
