Financial Aid Director - Higher Ed. manages and administers all aspects of student financial aid program.     Job Description:

    ICB is seeking an individual that has appropriate experience in Title IV/FSA to be the Director of Financial Aid at a small associate degree granting college with an average of 90-100 students per year. In this position, it requires working with students face to face and assisting them through all phases of the aid process. This position requires someone that has excellent organizational, technological and communication skills as well as the ability to interact with other departments within a small college. Previous experience with FAME and Campus Cloud is a plus. This position reports to the Campus Director and Owner of the institution.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Advising students of financial aid eligibility
    • Awarding, disbursing, tracking all financial aid and federal disbursements made to the school
    • Awarding, disbursing, and tracking all state aid sent to the school
    • Calculating and reporting 1098-T forms to students and the IRS annually.
    • Coaching students and colleagues regarding changes in Title IV guidelines
    • Collaboration with accounting
    • Completing Title IV R2T4 calculations
    • Compiling, researching, and maintaining financial aid policies and procedures for federal, state, and local agencies
    • Completing and maintaining all verification documentation as applicable
    • Completing all entrance and exit counseling for all students
    • Conducting and collaborating with institutional auditor for annual financial aid audits
    • Conducting annual IPEDS data collection annually
    • Conducting applicable state audits
    • Consistent training with the VA regarding updates for Veteran’s Affairs students
    • Consistent training regarding FSA requirements
    • Correcting and adjusting aid to meet compliance
    • HEERF maintaining and reporting data tracking, requesting, configuring methodology, and compliance for awarding
    • Collaborating with multiple departments to ensure required tasks are completed in a timely manner
    • Maintain Student Information System for accurate data reporting
    • Maintain student account balances and reconciliation
    • Collaborating with School Director regarding any necessary changes within the school catalog
    • Maintain and organize the financial aid office for efficiency
    • Cross referencing multiple departments to ensure financial aid is compliant with academic standards
    • Provide corrective action plans regarding Title IV audits if applicable
    • SSCR reporting bi-monthly
    • Tracking and reporting academic deficiencies and working with other departments to facilitate accuracy
    • Repackaging financial aid for all students every semester
    • Tracking missing documents
    • Collaborate with the State Approving Agency for appropriate catalog revisions and necessary compliance surveys
    • Collaborate with Third Party Servicers to ensure Title IV is processed correctly
