In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst/Manager primarily provides direct business partnering support to BDI Sales & Marketing Senior Directors and product leads. The Senior Financial Analyst/Manager reports to the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and is based in the Company’s Monroe, New Jersey office on a hybrid schedule, 3 days in the office. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop financial models and analyses to support partnership with BDI Sales & Marketing team Prepare monthly sales, gross margin and P&L reporting packages versus budget and prior year and preparation of variance explanations Compile annual budget and quarterly forecasts of Sales, Cost of Sales, Gross Margin and overall Profit & Loss Statement Validate monthly activity for corporate management reporting Support the creation, distribution and maintenance of reporting tools Perform analysis and data mining in SAP and in BW reporting tool Support maintenance of key financial master data in SAP, including Cost Centers, Cost Elements, Internal Orders and WBS project codes Provide support to FP&A team members with various financial modeling, forecasting and reporting activities related to the Americas markets and entities Assist with the harmonization of processes, reporting and analyses for Americas markets and entities Special projects and ad-hoc analyses CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONSKEY SELECTION CRITERIA Experienced Finance professional with seven-plus years of experience working in a product based company or professional services firm. Ability to prioritize tasks, analyses and projects with limited supervision Ability to work efficiently and independently with a high level of accuracy and productivity Demonstrated ability to ask probing questions and determine root causes of issues Excellent written, oral and presentation skills Experience with SAP, Hyperion, SmartView, BEX Analyzer and BW reporting environment Advanced skills in Excel Finance/Accounting background with MBA and/or CPA a plus DESIRED PERSONAL PROFILE A results-oriented, hands-on professional with a strong work-ethic who can operate effectively in a collaborative management environment with limited supervision and guidance A “can-do” team player with a strong desire to continuously improve performance, service and processes and who demonstrates initiative to support and business partner and Finance colleagues A professional with excellent interpersonal and communications skills who can quickly build rapport, establish trust and develop effective working relationships with Finance colleagues, BDI Senior Director, Sales and Marketing and extended team A proactive employee that seeks to help others and increase value A forward-thinking person who considers long-term trends and broad business implications when determining approach or recommending actions The role is hybrid and in the Monroe, NJ office 3 days per week.
