Financial Analyst, FP&A jobs in Fayetteville, NC

POSITION SUMMARY: Assists in the planning, development, and preparation of budgets, financial statements, statistical reports, cost analyses, and other financial information. Takes on complex and specialized assignments.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Required: Bachelors Degree in Business/Accounting or Associates Degree in Accounting/Business with a minimum of two years progressive experience

Preferred:  Above plus previous education/experience in accepted accounting principles, principles of budget preparation in a non-profit healthcare setting, analysis of financial data, reports and financial documentation.

ADDITIONAL SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Applicant must demonstrate an ability to apply appropriate principles of communication during interaction with others including department Managers and Directors. 

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

Supervises:       None

Reports To:       Manager, Financial Services 

ACCESS TO INFORMATION:

- Demographic: patient specific information such as name, address, date of birth, race, etc.

- Organizational: department statistics and expense reports.

- Knowledge based: access to Internet and Information Resource Center reference resources.

-Clinical:  patient specific and aggregate data by diagnosis, procedure, physician, etc.

-Financial:  procedure costs, charges, payroll, and reimbursement information.

-Computerized:  data files downloaded from various systems.
