Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the FP& A Analyst will play a crucial role in driving financial performance by providing insightful analysis, managing budgets, and supporting strategic decision-making.The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Analysis:Conduct in-depth analysis of financial performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting.Budgeting and Forecasting:Assist in the development and maintenance of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.Work closely with department heads to understand budgetary needs and provide support in aligning financial plans with overall business objectives.Variance Analysis:Analyze and explain budget variances, highlighting key drivers and recommending corrective actions where necessary.Communication:Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and informed decision-making environment.Work closely with the Director of Finance to present financial findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
