We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Perform account reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets for management review
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Monitor cash flow, manage accounts receivable, and oversee collections
- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and efficiency gains
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- CPA certification strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Experience in public accounting is highly desirable
- Proficiency in financial software systems and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Solid understanding of SOX compliance requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
