Financial Assistant (Corporate) provides assistance to the Corporate Financial Associates. Collects data, prepares business reports, proposals, and presentations. Being a Financial Assistant (Corporate) coordinates meetings and other communications between associates and others involved in deals. Uses database, spreadsheet and other software to collect and manage data. Additionally, Financial Assistant (Corporate) may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Financial Assistant (Corporate) works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Phlebotomy/Laboratory Assistant

  • The phlebotomist/lab assistant performs the collection, processing and preparation of blood, body fluids and other laboratory samples for testing and analysis.  They interact with patients, nurses, doctors and other medical personnel.  As a member of the laboratory team, they are the first source for excellent customer service in the laboratory.  They utilize computers and general office organizational skills in performing their duties.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Phlebotomy training required - certification preferred.
    • Computer keyboard entry experience.
    • Ability to speak, read and write English.
    • Minimum of one year experience preferred.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Specimen collection and labeling.
    • Instructs patients about proper sample collection.
    • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to provide care to all patient age groups.
    • Specimen processing.
    • Uses the Laboratory Information System to obtain and record data and issue results
    • Maintains equipment in proper working order.
    • Follows and maintains competency on all standard operating procedures.
    • Performs chain of custody collections.

    • Demonstrate sound judgment, patience and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
    • Ability to work in a busy and stressful environment
    • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
    • Training and or experience in Phlebotomy
    • Computer skills: Electronic medical records software
    • Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
    • Creativity, problem analysis and decision making
    • Ability to meet hospital requirements for the operation of fleet vehicles required
    • Ability to work varied shifts
