Financial Associate (Public) gathers and interprets financial data and coordinates the process for the origination of debt securities used to finance public projects for housing, utilities or other municipal initiatives. Develops estimates of services and completes a comprehensive analysis of project, including bond ratings and insurance. Being a Financial Associate (Public) collaborates with public officials in analyzing the necessary bond and cash flow reports that are associated with the projects. Starts the offering process and may make recommendations to interested investors. Additionally, Financial Associate (Public) coordinates preparation of all offering documents. Manages the bond issuance process and assists with the offering. Depending on the size and level of project, responsibility may vary. May manage the entire project or only a portion of the deal. Requires a bachelor's degree of Finance. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Financial Associate (Public) works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed.     Position Title: Financial Client Service Associate

    Status: Full-time, benefits included (medical and dental, Simple 401k plan match, PTO)

    Compensation: $45,000- $60,000, commensurate with experience

    Location: Beachwood, Ohio (or hybrid remote/on location)

    Responsibilities:

    Client Service

    • Client relationship building as part of a growing team
    • Respond to client inquiries and initiate proactive “touch points” with clients
    • Prepare and assemble client meeting reports (Investment summaries, Beneficiary designations, Retirement Cash Flow Projections, Annuity Updates)
    • Assist and coordinate meeting follow-up tasks (processing of account changes)
    • Mail Distribution and Receiving
    • Correspondence Review
    • Scanning, recording and Depositing of Client Checks

    Administrative/Account processing

    • New Account opening, onboarding new clients, assist with on-line access
    • Track and process Required Minimum Distributions
    • Account maintenance and processing such as adding bank links, TOD designations, beneficiary changes and responding to system alerts
    • Annuity maintenance and processing such as adding systematic withdrawals
    • Monitoring of mutual fund share classes and processing conversions as needed
    • Entering client trade requests
    • Balancing client portfolios when needed through iRebal trading
    • Data entry in client relationship management software and other firm systems
    • Advisor follow-up for compliance regulations and assistance with firm audits

    Marketing

    • Schedule and organize client appreciation events and seminars
    • Design and implement social media marketing campaigns primarily focused on LinkedIn to increase Team visibility and identify business prospects
    • Innovative management – contribute creatively with new ideas that might help to grow the practice

    Qualifications:

    • Positive attitude with excellent communication skills and ability to interface professionally with clients and other Beacon Associates
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial services industry, Client Service experience preferred
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks and work independently
    • High level of integrity and ethics
    • Proficient math skills and effective organization
    • Ability to work under deadlines, a drive for results and eye toward efficiency
    • Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office and Social Media
    • Basic Competency or understanding of Client Relationship Management Software
    • NetX 360 or VEO trading platform, Albridge, Docusign, Morningstar, eMoney, and Redtail knowledge is a plus

    Education and Licensure:

    • College Degree preferred, High School Diploma required
    • FINRA Series 7 Registration or willingness to obtain within nine months.
    • Ohio Life Insurance License a plus, but not required
