Financial Associate (Public) gathers and interprets financial data and coordinates the process for the origination of debt securities used to finance public projects for housing, utilities or other municipal initiatives. Develops estimates of services and completes a comprehensive analysis of project, including bond ratings and insurance. Being a Financial Associate (Public) collaborates with public officials in analyzing the necessary bond and cash flow reports that are associated with the projects. Starts the offering process and may make recommendations to interested investors. Additionally, Financial Associate (Public) coordinates preparation of all offering documents. Manages the bond issuance process and assists with the offering. Depending on the size and level of project, responsibility may vary. May manage the entire project or only a portion of the deal. Requires a bachelor's degree of Finance. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Financial Associate (Public) works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. SUMMARY:
The Associate Advisor provides internal support to our Financial Advisors as part of a centralized planning team to provide ongoing service and advice to our on-plan asset management clients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Shadows Financial Advisor future and existing client appointments to gain valuable training.
· Creates and helps implement financial plans for existing clients.
· Performs various tasks and research for all types of clients.
· Assists with future and existing client communication.
· Shadows various departments of Allworth Financial to obtain knowledge of how our business model functions.
· Attends company events, including workshops and seminars.
· Takes appropriate steps to obtain the CFP® designation.
· Assist with Enrollment Meetings for 401(k) Plans
QUALIFICATIONS:
· BS/BA in Business Finance, Economics, or related field
· In pursuit of CFP® designation
· Self-starter, with the ability to work independently
· Strong communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills
· Demonstrates ability to learn related financial and office programs and systems
