HHM Talent is assisting a client search for an Assistant Controller for their modular/mobile home manufacturing plant based out of Russellville, AL.

This position is on-site and full time. There is room for growth within this company.

Position Overview: We are looking for an Assistant Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a focus on manufacturing environments. This role will assist the Controller in managing financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, and will play a key role in supporting the company’s financial health and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Generate cost analysis and maintain cost accounting systems to track manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and product profitability.
• Generate and analyze financial reports
• Assisting closing out month end
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections
• Assist with monitoring annual budgets and forecasts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency experience with AutoCad/GreatPlains/Moducore.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
