Position Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Controller to join our esteemed team. Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee the day-to-day functions of the accounting department with discretion and confidentiality.
• Guarantee the punctual and meticulous preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain and watch over cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts to evaluate the company's financial health and recommend enhancements.
• Lead the coordination of the annual budgeting process, collaborating closely with executive heads to craft thorough budgets aligned with company objectives.
• Perform financial analyses, including variance analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and trend evaluations, to identify opportunities for cost containment and revenue amplification.
• Remain informed about changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and optimize financial performance.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the accounting team, nurturing a culture of collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA and CPA designation preferred.
• Proven experience in a Controller or similar financial leadership role, ideally within the construction industry.
• Profound understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Exemplary analytical skills with the ability to confidentially interpret complex financial data and offer actionable insights.
• Proficiency in confidential financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a penchant for effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated confidential leadership prowess, with a track record of nurturing and cultivating high-performing teams.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
