The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will report directly to the Vice President, Umovity Finance Americas and will lead the Finance team in providing strategic financial insights and driving informed decision-making across the organization. The candidate will be responsible for financial accounting tasks such as supporting monthly/periodic results and audits, and performing analysis, reporting, and presentations. In addition, the Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis will oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, and collaborating with various departments to support the company's growth and profitability.

DUTIES

• Lead the development and execution of Econolite's financial plan, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Oversee the monthly closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Participate in the review and analysis of actual results of operating budgets and prior year results.  
• Develop and implement the annual budgeting and forecasting process, and analyze financial data and trends to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare financial presentations and reports for senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Collaborate with business partners across the organization to create accurate and achievable financial plans to inform strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
• Partner with business unit leaders to develop financial strategies that support organizational goals and communicate financial information effectively.
• Improves financial performance by interpreting financial trends; partnering with business leaders to identify actions that address performance issues; and implementing enhancements to operational issues in order to improve performance.
• Assist in cash flow planning and cash management.
• Develop and support Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to promote timely and effective decision making.
• Manage and provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to a team of financial analysts and ensure their professional development.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control framework. 
• Participate in special projects and other projects as assigned, including automation efforts and other improvements to the reporting process/efforts, to streamline processes and increase efficiency and effectiveness of group’s reporting and financial analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or equivalent experience required,
• CPA or MBA preferred
• 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a manufacturing or technology company.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and
• financial modeling.
• Proven track record of success in leading and developing a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail to identify and interpret complex financial data.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business performance and delivering
• actionable insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling software.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Costpoint software highly preferred 
• Strong understanding of GAAP and FASB principles and reporting requirements.

COMPENSATION

The base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year plus incentive and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by various factors, including role, experience, and location. The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
