Overview of the Senior Accountant role:

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts
• Perform month end closing duties and direct annual audits
• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
• Perform audits and ensure adherence to standard requirements; create new processes to improve efficiency
• Ensure that all financial data is secure and complies with confidentiality policies

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant Role:

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a major ERP system
