ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

- Pay Considerations –The salary range for the position is $57,246.54 – $90,885.18. Starting salary is dependent on education, qualifications, and experience.
- Work Schedule – This position is scheduled to work 4 days per week, 9 hours per day (36 hour work week), Monday through Thursday, 5:30am to 3:00pm .
- Environment – Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25* pounds unassisted.
THE ROLE
Performs routine professional level financial, budgetary and related accounting work including preparing financial reports, administering and maintaining a variety of accounts and financial records, and a variety of tasks related to assigned area of responsibility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, economics, finance or closely related field; and,
- One year of increasingly responsible professional experience in accounting, auditing or budgeting depending upon area assigned. Experience in a public agency setting is desirable.
- Equivalency: Five years of increasingly responsible professional experience in accounting, auditing or budgeting depending upon area assigned may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree and the experience listed above.
Licenses and Certifications
- Must possess a valid state drivers license and maintain satisfactory motor vehicle record with the ability to obtain appropriate Nevada state driver’s license within required time frame.
SELECTION PROCESS

- The selection process will begin with a screening of the application/resume - The best qualified candidates will be invited to participate in the assessment process. The selection process will include (dates to be determined).
- Oral Board Interview - (Weighted 100%): Dates to be determined.
- Pre-Employment Screening –Selected candidates for this position are subject to a pre-employment screening which includes but is not limited to local & state criminal history check; federal criminal history checks via submission of fingerprints; and drug screening. *IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Background check processing may take 2 to 3 months to complete.
