Financial Reporting Director directs and oversees the preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements for external use. Ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Being a Financial Reporting Director confirms that entries, transactions, and accounts are accurately and properly consolidated and are included in internal and external financial statements. Advises management of trends and changes in reporting requirements and recommends best approach for any changes in reporting. Additionally, Financial Reporting Director may serve as a liaison with or oversee the work of external auditors. May direct the preparation of materials for board or shareholders. Position Overview:
This position reports directly to the CFO and directs and oversees the timely preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements for external use, ensuring compliance with Company regulations, professional standards and SEC and US GAAP reporting guidelines. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all financial information is accurate and timely and will be responsible for maintaining and improving upon the Company’s internal controls over financial reporting necessary to accomplish this. In addition to the preparation of required SEC filings, including, but not limited to, the Form 10-K, Form 10-Q and current reports on Form 8-K, this individual will be responsible for coordination with internal and external stakeholders involved in collection and monitoring of this required reporting information. The Director of Technical Accounting and Reporting will work closely with the management and accounting teams to monitor Company activities and ensure that transactions and activities are assessed for proper accounting treatment in accordance with US GAAP and reported in an accurate and timely manner.
