Position Function:
Central Pacific Bank is located in the state of Hawaii. The work location for this position is in Honolulu, on the island of Oahu. This position would require the selected individual to be able to work on-site during the training period and may be eligible (not guaranteed) for hybrid work upon successful completion of training. If granted hybrid scheduling, this position requires the individual to be available to come in office when needed, at 2-3 times per week but may be more.
The Financial Reporting and SOX Compliance Manager manages the preparation of periodic reporting to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"). They are responsible for ensuring compliance with all accounting and financial reporting policies, SEC, and regulatory requirements. They will oversee the Company's Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Compliance program and its respective requirements under sections 302 and 404. They are also responsible for ensuring that bank-wide key financial reporting processes have appropriate internal controls in place to manage the related risks. They will keep abreast of all changes in accounting and reporting requirements and facilitate changes in policies and procedures as needed to maintain compliance. This position provides exposure to business-related issues and the opportunity to develop analytical, business judgment, technical, and interpersonal skills.
