The Financial Advisor Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Financial Advisor in their day-to-day operations, providing administrative assistance, client support, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the financial advisory department. The ideal candidate will possess a basic understanding of financial concepts, excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy, and personable customer service. 

Job Type: Part-Time

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Schedule: Business Hours Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
• Prepare and process paperwork related to client accounts, transactions, and forms.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, addressing basic questions and concerns promptly.
• Assist in preparing and coordinating proposals/presentations.
• Assist with compliance-related tasks, such as preparing for audits and maintaining records.
• Stay updated on industry trends and any changes in products or services offered to clients. 
• Adhere to credit union policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills:

• General experience and knowledge with computers and technological applications such as Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively, multitask, and solve problems with sound reasoning. 
• Perform basic math functions such as add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.  
• Extremely detail oriented and accurate when processing paperwork.

• Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
