Financial Retail Sales Assistant - Non-Registered provides sales and business development support for one or more licensed/registered investment product sales representatives. Performs customer service and administrative tasks to answer basic product questions, make changes to accounts, and open new accounts. Being a Financial Retail Sales Assistant - Non-Registered coordinates but does not execute orders. Maintains a sales and referral database and uses telemarketing and customer profiling to generate leads and additional business opportunities with existing and prospective clients. Additionally, Financial Retail Sales Assistant - Non-Registered tracks referrals, schedules sales appointments, and fulfills requests for information. Has a basic knowledge and understanding of the firm's product offerings. Typically requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Financial Retail Sales Assistant - Non-Registered works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Overview:
Seeking motivated, organized, and responsible professional to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our financial team, assisting in daily office needs and increasing the efficiency of the office. (This is not a remote job despite what indeed says)
15 -20 hours per week.
Responsibilities will include:
- Answering and directing phone calls as needed
- Preparing paperwork for new and existing client accounts
- Tracking Required Minimum Distributions for clients and maintaining excel spreadsheet
- Following up on submitted paperwork to make sure it is processed
- Calling companies to get information on client accounts
Requirements and skills:
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of docupace preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently once trained
- High School Diploma or GED
- at least 2 years administrative experience, Financial Service Industry experience preferred but not required.
Salary:
$20/hour
