Financial Systems Analyst implements, maintains, and updates the systems that store and process financial data. Modifies system menus, edits spreadsheets and reports, and troubleshoots system problems. Being a Financial Systems Analyst imports files to and exports files from financial databases. Generates reports and conducts analyses on financial systems data. Additionally, Financial Systems Analyst collaborates with internal teams to determine primary needs and goals and creates solutions to meet those objectives. Trains staff on the use of financial systems and acts as a liaison to the information technology department. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Financial Systems Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. We are looking for a team player with accounting experience to join our Finance department. The CCFC Financial Analyst will work for and in partnership with the Director of Finance and President of CCFC and is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of accounting operations, ensures all financial and performance reports are filed with the appropriate funding source in a timely manner, prepares for annual audit by maintaining necessary audit work papers, budget preparation, handle all financial analysis requests, create forecasting tools to support the department, reconciliation for general ledger accounts, and more. This is a full-time position out of our Lewiston office. The position is primarily a work-from-home arrangement with occasional days required in the Lewiston office. Candidates must perform well in a remote setting.
To Qualify: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; seven to ten years of commensurate experience may be substituted for the college training. Experience in non-profit accounting and OMB knowledge is preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; Knowledge of MIP accounting software is preferred. Must have willingness to accept the challenge of a hectic pace; ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and work with minimal supervision; work well in teams or independently; works well with a team as well as individually; keep accurate, neat records; adapt to changing State and Federal regulations; and actively participate in the creative changes which occur.
