Fire Fighter is responsible for rapid response to fires, accidents, and other emergencies to protect people, property, and the environment. Works with firefighting teams to control and extinguish fires and safely manage hazardous materials. Being a Fire Fighter performs search and rescue, responds to auto accidents, and provides emergency medical services. Uses and operates fire tools, equipment and apparatus as effectively and safely as possible. Additionally, Fire Fighter performs routine maintenance and inspection of firefighting equipment and gear to ensure proper condition and preparedness for emergencies. Prepares post-incident reports as required. May participate in fire safety education and inspection activities. Typically is required to pass periodic physical ability tests. May require registry in NREMT. May require an associate degree in fire science. Requires Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Basic. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fire Fighter works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. DISPATCHER
We are currently looking for a full-time dispatcher. Bilingual is preferred but experience will be the deciding factor, this is a Monday-Friday, 8-5 pm position. Pay is DOE. If you're interested, please respond to the post with your resume and we will send you and application to fill out. You will need to know Washington State areas pretty well. Also, you need to be fully computer literate, as we work with lots of computer programs for scheduling and dispatching. The more experience you have the better. Must have a positive attitude and be able to work well under pressure. We do like to cross train as well so there will more opportunities to learn more as you go. We do not provide benefits at this time besides PTO and then vacation after a year on employment. We look forward to meeting you.
