Fire Inspector conducts inspections of new and existing buildings to ensure compliance with fire and safety codes. Prepares reports and issues violation documents. Being a Fire Inspector documents and defines actions needed to resolve non-compliance situations. Conducts fire investigations. Additionally, Fire Inspector has extensive knowledge of codes, ordinances, construction materials, and alarm systems. Typically requires an associate degree in fire science or equivalent. Has completed fire inspection training and may require the Certified Fire Inspector I (CFI) credential and applicable State License. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Fire Inspector is capable of working on complex problems and exceptions without direct supervision. Has a wide and comprehensive understanding of both general and specific aspects of the job. We are seeking person to join our team. There is no experience need as we are willing to train the right indivisual. We sell, service and inspect fire extinguishers. Our service area is from North Texas down to the San Marcos area.

v Full Time based on 35-hour work week
v Will Train
v Monday-Friday- 1 OR 2 Saturdays a year
v Must have clean driving record
v Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
v Some overnight trips mandatory with transportation, food, and room provided
*SKILLS NEEDED*
-Strong communication skills and an ability to work well as a team member.
-Able to read and write in English at a High School Graduate level.
-Basice adding and subtractioon is needed.
-Ability to pass a state mandated test for a professional liscence after an appropriate amount of on the job training in conjunction with the study material given to you.
