Responsibilities Include:
- Analysis of Fire Protection Systems
- Technical design of new Fire Protection Systems (suppression, fire detection, alarm)
- Application of appropriate building and fire codes to design criteria
- Conduct Risk Assessments to identify potential fire hazards
- Develop Summary of Code Requirements
- Use of engineering design software such as REVIT
- Manage multiple staff and determine staffing needs and recommend project personnel
- Inform team members about technical details
- Maintain positive client relationships
Required Experience
- Proficiency in REVIT
- Project Engineers – 3 Years experience with Fire Protection/Plumbing Systems
- Senior Engineers – 8 Years experience with Fire Protection/Plumbing Systems; PE License preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
