We are currently seeking qualified Trainers for our RockBox Fitness location in New Albany, OH.

The Trainer role is primarily responsible for leading and executing high intensity, effective, safe, and fun group exercise classes based in boxing, kickboxing, and functional strength training. The Trainer must bring his/her ‘A game’ every single class, and ensure the members experience an immersive workout which takes their fitness to a higher level. Trainers command the room with poise and confidence, and use member’s names frequently and corrects form as needed. Positive reinforcement is shared with abundance and members’ feel appreciated during and after each class. The Trainer will demonstrate strong customer service orientation, outstanding exercise technique, consultative selling skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a passion for the fitness industry and RockBox’ unique approach to exercise. The role is responsible for working with the General Manager to meet or exceed all member acquisition and retention goals for the assigned studio and is an ambassador for RockBox Fitness inside and outside the studio.

ESSENTIAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be a fitness leader in community
• Compliance and adherence by all studio employees to RockBox Fitness policies
• Convert program clients and trial classes to members
• Build and maintain highly engaged member base
• Ensure safety of participants in regard to exercise technique
• Modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels
• Perform personalized focus meetings with clients to review and plan for health, fitness, and nutrition goals
• Attend weekly and monthly meetings and required educational presentations
• Handle member concerns when applicable
• Monday-Friday hours, Weekends

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Must always be high energy and positive
• Must be selfless and a team player
• Must have current and up to date training certifications (NASM or ACE preferred)
• Degree in Exercise Science or related field, preferred
• Must have sales aptitude

Experience:

• Group fitness: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPT/GFI Certification (Preferred)

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
