Fitness Instructor coordinates all fitness programs for a facility. Organizes and instructs exercise classes for all fitness levels. Being a Fitness Instructor ensures that all participants are properly trained on the use of the facility's exercise equipment. Responsible for making sure that the exercise area and equipment are safe and clean. Additionally, Fitness Instructor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be a Fitness Instructor typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. We are looking to add a dynamic personality to our training team for Burn Boot Camp in West Chester, PA, with opportunity to grow and expand your role to include operations and customer experience support and/or to add additional hours instructing boot camps at our Exton, PA, and Bear, DE, locations.
Burn Boot Camp instructors are certified personal trainers that can manage a group of 5-30 members at a time or more. Burn offers members 45-minute strength and conditioning workouts designed by HQ and tailored by each gym's lead trainer to truly fit our clients' needs and goals. We offer our members complimentary childwatch, 1-on-1 goal setting and nutritional support, 9 camp time options daily Mon-Fri and 3 on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays.
Instructors must hold a nationally recognized Personal Trainer Certification, have completed a Bachelor's degree in a fitness-related field or be willing to get certified before training boot camps solo.
