Fixed Income Analyst jobs in Downey, CA

Position Summary

Working under the direction of Generalist Portfolio Managers, this position will provide analytical and research support to the Generalist Portfolio Managers and the Co-CIOs of the Fixed Income group at TCW. 

Essential Duties

• Provide support to the generalist portfolio management team
• Ad hoc and recurring research projects and analytical work as directed
• Portfolio monitoring and reporting
• Write commentary, reports, responses, summaries, etc.

Required Qualifications

• At least 3-7 years of experience as an analyst on Wall Street, an investment banking/sales trading associate, or an analyst within a Fixed Income investment team
• Strong understanding of economics, economic data, and financial markets
• Solid knowledge of fixed income markets, fixed income instruments and analytics
• Excellent financial, mathematical and statistical skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related field with demonstrated academic achievement;
• CFA designation or progress towards obtaining one is preferred

Professional Skills Qualifications

• Strong writing and communication skills; able to work with individuals at all levels within the organization
• Excellent work ethic

Estimated Compensation:

Base Salary: For CA based position, the base salary range is $150k - $175k .  This is an anticipated range only.

Other Compensation: Eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus
