One of New Jersey’s leading Residential Solar Companies, Sun Up Zero Down, is looking for an Assistant Project Coordinator. This person will play an essential role in our team by taking care of the necessary details that ensure a project is completed successfully and on time.

Our Assistant Project Coordinator Will:

• Apply for construction permits, utility interconnection, and state registration
• Process, manage and track paperwork for individual projects
• Work with financing partners to ensure all paperwork is correctly submitted
• Manage the project timeline and post the installation schedule
• Generate forms and track data using Microsoft Word & Excel
• Provide customer service throughout the project and after installation
• Schedule service calls
• Track change orders
• Invoice for customer payments, financing partner payments & service calls
• Collaborate with the sales team, solar installation foreperson, and business owners to ensure successful projects.

Our Ideal Assistant Project Coordinator:

• Experienced: Must have previous experience working in an office setting, taking care of detailed administrative tasks. Experience working for a solar or construction company is a big plus.
• Detailed: Cross every “t” and dot every “i” to ensure paperwork is completed accurately. Track deadlines and schedules. Double checks work.
• Tech Savvy: Must be comfortable using the internet, MS Excel, Word & Outlook. Willing to learn and embrace new software and technology.
• Collaborative: Willing to work with the sales team, solar install team, owners, customers, vendors, and township offices. We need someone friendly, cooperative, and can build trusting relationships with others.
• Process Driven: Can systematically follow all the steps in a process to ensure accuracy.
• Reliable: Can be counted on to complete tasks, work independently and meet deadlines. Willing to undergo a criminal background check and drug test.
