Job Title: Fleet Manager

Job Summary:

As the Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are maintained, operated efficiently and safely, and comply with all relevant regulations. You will lead a team of drivers and maintenance staff to ensure the smooth running of the fleet and will work closely with other departments to optimize routes and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the company's fleet of vehicles, including cars, vans, and trucks, ensuring they are properly maintained and serviced.
• Develop and implement fleet policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and legal requirements.
• Oversee the scheduling and dispatch of vehicles, ensuring timely delivery of vehicles and equipment.
• Monitor driver performance, safety records, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement training programs for drivers and maintenance staff to ensure they are up-to-date on regulations and safety procedures.
• Work with other departments to optimize routes and schedules, reducing drive time and fuel costs.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and fuel usage.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors for the purchase of new vehicles parts and equipment.
• Develop and maintain all DOT, IFTA, IRP logs and paper work within all crews.
• Establish and monitor purchasing records (vehicle registration, insurance)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in fleet management or logistics.
• Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of drivers and maintenance staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with other departments and suppliers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues before they become major problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management software.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record, Class B or class A drivers license preferred.

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
