D2 Flight Academy (D2FA) is currently seeking a qualified candidate for Ground/Simulator Instructor at our New Bern, NC location.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct ground classes for Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial, CFI, and Multi-engine courses.
• Conducting simulator training for the above-mentioned courses.
• Be familiar with the FAA part 61 and 141 regulations.
• Be able to develop curriculum.
• Report to the Chief pilot.
• Ensure that the simulator’s letter of Authorization is current.
• Be able to evaluate students’ performance according to the ACS/PTS standards
• Conduct a mockup check ride to prep the student for the check ride.

Qualifications:

• Hold an FAA AGI and IGI certificate or a CFI, CFII, MEI certificates.
• Read, write, and speak the English language.
• Have a high school diploma
