Mental Performance Coaching Job Opportunity
Sharpen Skills Training in conjunction with Mental Performance Coaching LLC has created a business to work with and help youth athletes understand how their mind influences performance. It is our goal to help youth athletes apply mental strategies to help perform their best in competition. In this program, youth athletes will be learning and discussing topics such as:
- Proactive Confidence
- Enhancing Focus/Concentration
- Fear of Failure & Healthy Beliefs
- Mental Rehearsal and Imagery
- Expectations/Comfort Zones
- Emotional Control/Relaxation
- Self-Esteem, Social Approval
- Positive Self-Talk
- Motivational Styles
- Goal Setting
- Team Dynamics
- So much more!
The goal is to create a comfortable and healthy environment where youth athletes feel open to share their possible struggles in their sport and are open to working on the mental side of the game to improve their performance. Being an advocate for these youth athletes, as well as a mentor to emphasize the importance of the mental side of sports is key. At our facility, we want youth athletes to look at this opportunity as another avenue to improve their game just as you would in the weight room, on the field, or in the gym. We want to emphasize that working on your mind is just as important as working on your body. We work with individual athletes and teams and are looking to develop programs for coaches and parents.
