The Idaho State Police (ISP) has a current opening for a POST Training Coordinator 3 with in Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) in Meridian. This position will manage the Idaho POST Academy Training Bureau.
Incumbents in this position will be responsible for managing staff and program operations involving basic officer training academies or over regional coordinator staff and all law enforcement certification program academies throughout the state, and instructor standards and certifications. Incumbents will serve as a member of the POST Management Team and advise POST Administration on organization and program effectiveness. Incumbents will define goals, delegate work to achieve those goals and evaluate performance of subordinate staff. Incumbents must possess significant supervisory, problem solving and conflict resolution experience. Must pass an extensive background investigation and polygraph test.
