Actual Job Title - QA Compliance & Training Coordinator

Location : Round Lake, IL

Duration : 3 Months on Contract

Summary of Role :

The Learning Management System (LMS) Coordinator is responsible for online optimization, technical management, and day-to-day support for the site's learning management system.

The LMS Coordinator provides user support in the investigation, analysis, and resolution of technical problems and develops effective work-around solutions for various technological issues to ensure continuous online course delivery.

Supports the Client Round Lake site and Global initiatives to ensure training is priority and compliance. The LMS Coordniator reports to the Manager Training and Compliance or assigned designee.

Duties & Responsibility :

• Provide input on change control processes related to training.
• System administrator for the learning management system (LMS).
• Troubleshoot issues with the LMS.
• Represent the site for any LMS meetings or requirements.
• Track training assignments and modify as required.
• Create, modify, or delete items in the LMS as required.
• Perform change controls as required to support changes to the LMS or training assignments.
• Monitor LMS performance.
• Support inspection requests for training reports.
• Identify and correct LMS system issues.
• Deliver technical training as required.
• Complete special projects related to training or continuous improvement as required.
• Perform change controls as required to support changes to the LMS or training assignments.
• Provide guidance to training coordinators for data entry, training assignments and curricula generation.
• Provide on-the-job training and assist with e-learning requirements.
• Provide constructive feedback and coaching to associates.
• Identify training gaps and develop a strategy to close them.
• Anticipate problems or opportunities and implement proactive solutions.
• Inform department managers of continuous improvement opportunities.
• Process vendor supplied training documentation.
• Manage updates of training content as part of change control / document change control process.

Qualification :

• Must have previous Success Factors experience. Must be proficient in written and oral English.
• Strong desire to teach people.
• Prior training experience.
• Some experience working in a Manufacturing environment.
• Some experience in a GxP environment.
• Solid analytical skills.
• The ability to explain / translate complicated processes and procedures.
• Technical adeptness for computer-based training.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Flexible to work off-shift hours.
• Train-The-Trainer (TTT) and / or On-The-Job Trainer (OJT) qualified.
• Database management experience.

Required :

High school diploma or GED. 6 years of experience or AA or higher with 4 years related work experience.

Desired :

• Advanced computer and customer focus skills as it relates to a Training environment. Time management and prioritization skills are preferred.
• Must be able to work on multiple shifts, including weekends, to support a 24 / 7 manufacturing operation as needed.
• Must be able to work non-traditional work hours or work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
