Float Manager manages and leads a group of float analysts. Oversees information regarding float activities within an organization. Being a Float Manager designs and implements necessary process changes to speed check processing and reduce float time. Stays abreast of laws enacted by the Federal Reserve to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjusts plans accordingly. Additionally, Float Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Float Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Float Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. The LPN/RN Float Essential Duties:
The LPN Team Float provides quality nursing care to patients in a manner that meets the patient and family needs working under the direction and supervision of an RN Care Manager.
Qualifications:
LPN's - Registered LPN with the State of Ohio without any board actions. One year of previous nurse experience.
- CPR Certified
- Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHLPN) preferred; required within two years of employment. (Eligible upon completion of 500 hours in last 12 months of hospice/palliative experience.)
- Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care.
- Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather.
- Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record
- State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage
