Floor Operations Manager oversees the execution of securities orders on the floor of the exchange. Researches and resolves problems that occur during the trading process. Being a Floor Operations Manager monitors business volume and ensures timely processing of orders. May be responsible for the profitability of the floor brokers. Additionally, Floor Operations Manager requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a top management. The Floor Operations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Floor Operations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We are seeking a results oriented Operations Manager to oversee our real estate investment firm's property management division in the Gulfport MS area
This is a local, full time position.
This person will be heavily involved in the day to day operations that includes
- marketing,
- leasing,
- collections,
- maintenance and
- unit turns (project management)
Experience needed:
- Operations and management experience
- that is, you have managed projects to a high standard
- and you have managed people (contractors and/or internal team members)
- have a strong understanding of standard operating procedures to drive results
- project management experience
- property management experience not required, real estate experience not required but a plus
Compensation:
$50,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience
