Shift Supervisor (3-5 Shifts per Week) - Prefer Closing Shifts 1:00 PM or Later. Typical Closing Time is 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Later for Wedding Nights. Restaurant and Event Hours Vary.
Part Time Position without Option of Full Time.
-Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and banquet facility while adhering to company standards and service levels
-Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of dining areas. Responsible for ensuring these are in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
-Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant appearance, cleanliness and uniform standards.
-Guarantee positive guest service in all areas of the Country Club.
-Respond to complaints, depending on severity, taking any and all appropriate action to ensure a return guest.
-Ensure safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents.
-Responsible for managing shifts which include daily decision making, scheduling, product presentation and cleanliness.
-Responsible for motivating staff to work as a team to ensure that service meets expectations.
-Responsible for handling the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities while recommending appropriate solutions to restaurant or event problems.
-Responsible for communicating well with a diverse staff while delegating work load.
-Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to promote a cooperative working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity and efficiency.
-Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
-Willingness and ability to perform all functions at the restaurant/event level.
Tasks and Duties (Cont’d):
-Ability to work with hot, cold and hazardous materials and equipment as well as operate phones, computers, fax machines, copiers and other office equipment.
-Must possess a strong ability to lead in times of confusion.
-Responsible for opening and closing the building and event space.
-Typical work week will range from 24 - 40 hours and may vary if required to fill in for his/her employees if emergency arises (more hours may be available, based on interview).

A supervisor may be asked to perform other duties in addition to those mentioned in the above outline. Hours more than 40 may be necessary and a longer work week may also be necessary in time of heavy business volume and/or during vacation time of fellow employees.
