Nooter is seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to join our safety team in Pembroke, Kentucky. This role would oversee the implementation of policies and procedures throughout Nooter for general safety and health.

They would also assist in adapting and implementing policies and procedures as they pertain to project requirements, safety, health, industrial hygiene and environmental to ensure the company objectives are met.

Nooter thrives on the success of its employees. An ideal candidate would have the following qualifications :

• Incorporate Nooter's safety policies and procedures into daily action.
• Assist all departments in developing action plans to reduce or eliminate occupational illnesses and injuries through the use of a Job Safety Assessment (JSA).
• Monitor and evaluate job site safety on a daily basis to reinforce good safety behavior and identify unsafe conditions, procedures, performance and follow-up to ensure they are corrected.
• Perform safety audits and provide the appropriate corrections.

Additionally, the ideal candidate would possess an Associates of Science degree or equivalent combination of technical training through associations such as OHST, CHST, Coss, ASP, or CSP or related experience.

Working knowledge of OSHA 1910 & 1926 standards.
