Duties and Functions:
Greeting and welcoming patrons with a friendly demeanor.
Presenting menus to customers and answering questions about menu items.
Taking accurate food and drink orders and conveying special requests to the kitchen.
Delivering orders promptly and accurately to tables.
Ensuring all food and beverages are served at the appropriate temperature and in proper serving ware.
Recommending daily specials and upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience.
Anticipating the needs of guests and addressing any concerns promptly.
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including tables, chairs, and dining area.
Processing payments accurately and efficiently.
Collaborating with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and accurate order delivery.
Adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
Qualification Standards:
Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail to ensure orders are accurate and meet guests' specifications.
Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including familiarity with special dietary requests.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
Professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Must be able to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for extended periods.
