We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Servers Bartenders, and Food Runners and Hostess to join our team at a vibrant restaurant offering a unique blend of Indian and Chinese cuisine. The ideal candidates will have a passion for delivering exceptional service and a solid understanding of both culinary traditions.

Responsibilities

• Guest Service: Provide a warm, welcoming, and professional service to all guests. Take orders accurately, serve food and beverages promptly, and ensure guests have a memorable dining experience.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a server in a restaurant specializing in Indian and/or Chinese cuisine is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indian and Chinese dishes, beverages, and service etiquette.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse clientele.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and composure.
• Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and billing.
• Menu Knowledge: Have in-depth knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation of dishes from both Indian and Chinese cuisines. Be able to make recommendations and answer guest inquiries confidently.
• Order Management: Input orders into the POS system accurately and efficiently. Ensure timely delivery of orders by coordinating with the kitchen and bar staff.
• Presentation and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized dining area. Ensure tables are set according to the restaurant's standards and that all service areas are tidy and well-stocked.
• Customer Interaction: Engage with guests to ensure their needs are met, resolve any issues promptly, and collect feedback to improve service quality.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive team environment.
• Billing and Payment: Present bills, handle cash and card transactions accurately, and ensure proper accounting for all transactions.
• Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained at all times.
• Experience as a Food Expeditor or similar entry-level role in a restaurant
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
• Guide and answer any questions
• Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends
• Multi-tasking abilities
• Good oral communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
