Provides food and beverage service to club members and guests.

Job Tasks (Duties)
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Suggests and describes various appetizers, entrees, desserts, to members and guests.
- Greet and seats members and guests (seats when needed).
- Working with other server team members to provide team-oriented service.
- Setup side station and performs assigned side work, salads, buffets, etc.
- Provides immediate attention to all members/guests upon seating
- Distributes menus and then take member and guest orders.
- Fills glasses with ice water while guests decide upon order; answers questions and suggests menu items
- Up-sell additional food products, such as appetizers, desserts, etc.
- Enter each item ordered into computer system.
- Turn orders into kitchen; tells cooks about any special cooking instructions
- Share information with customers about status of their orders.
- Assisting with preparation of some food items.
- Assembles food on tray; procures items from each station as necessary.
- Places meals by courses in front of each person; serves from left of the person.
- Checks back to ensure member/guest satisfaction; replenishes water, beverages and butter as necessary.
- Removes soiled dishes in a timely manner and turns scraped plates, emptied bowls, and emptied glasses to dishwashing station.
- Suggests and serves dessert and coffee.
- Determines when customers have completed their meal.
- Verifies accuracy of prices, state taxes, tips and other charges on all checks.
- Presents the bill.
- Encourage customers to complete customer service survey.
- Prepare table for next guests once a party has departed.
- Keeps tables, dining room and bus station clean and tidy
- Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur
- Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by supervisor
- Attends pre-meal meetings as requested by the his/her supervisor
- Turns in signed tip declaration form weekly
- Replenish salt & peppers, jellies, butter, mustard, ketchup etc at the end of shift.
- Clean waitress area; sweep and mop salad bar and waitress area; and vacuum dining room after each shift.
- Performs other ad-hoc duties as assigned by his/her supervisor.
Reports to: Dining Room Front-of-the-House Manager or On-Call Manager, if Supervisor is not available.
