Job Summary:
Casual family dine-in restaurant seeking experienced servers/cashiers to join our front of house team. The ideal candidate will have minimum of 2 years of experience in food service industry and have ability to multitask, handle cash, operate a POS system with ease, positive and energetic presence, and exceptional customer service. Qualified applicant must be detail oriented as we are a fast service and high volume take-out establishment. Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Operate a POS system to handle cash transactions, manage inventory, and process orders
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to sanitizing procedures to ensure a safe and healthy shopping experience
- Demonstrate strong retail math skills to accurately handle cash and operate a cash register
- Manage time effectively to meet customer needs, restock shelves, and complete tasks efficiently
- Provide assistance and support to customers in a helpful and courteous manner
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and welcoming store atmosphere
- Perform other duties as required to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and store efficiency
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or a quick service fast food restaurant is preferred
- Experience with cash handling and operating a POS system
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with food service operations and basic knowledge of japanese food menu.
- Ability to clean, sanitize, and maintain a clean store front environment
- A passion for servicing others and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
