Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Food Processing employee to join our team. As a Food Processor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient processing of food products according to FDA regulations and industry standards. Your role will involve various tasks such as sanitizing, packaging, and fabricating food products. If you have a strong understanding of food safety protocols, mechanical knowledge, and experience in the food processing industry, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Operate food processing equipment such as grinders
- Follow FDA regulations and company guidelines for proper handling and processing of food products
- Sanitize work areas and equipment to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination
- Package finished products according to specifications
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality control and adherence to HACCP standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadline
- Complete any other assigned task(s) given by the Processing Supervisor.
- Must be able to bend, stand for periods of time and lift items over 50 lbs.
Secondary Responsibilities
- clean and supply designated TPC facilities (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restrooms cleaning etc.
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Deliver customer product fixes as needed.
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or food processing is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and FDA regulations
- Mechanical aptitude for operating and maintaining processing equipment
- Familiarity with HACCP principles for ensuring food safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
