Come join our team and put Love into Action!The Rescue Mission is seeking a fulltime Dishwasher to work on our Main Campus in Syracuse, NY.Schedule:
- Sundays & Mondays: 6am – 2:30pm
- Tuesdays & Wednesdays: OFF
- Thursdays through Saturdays: 9am – 5:30pm
Benefits:- Paid time off available after 2 weeks of employment.

Qualifications:- Must follow handling and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to maintains guest confidentiality.
- Maintains employee-guest/client boundaries at all times.
- Prior experience in a food services setting preferred but not required.
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Ensures dishes and cookware are sanitized and available as needed.
- Cleans and sanitizes all food preparation equipment, and tools.
- Cleans and sanitizes floors, walls, tables and chairs.
- Promotes a safety-first attitude by setting a positive example and ensuring all employees are following safety policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with community.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Needed to Perform Effectively in this Position- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation tasks.
- Participates as a team player to provide a high-quality meal service to guest and community members.
- Supports and complies with all organizational and Food Service Center values.
- Must comply with CDC guidelines regarding Covid-19, including but not limited to, wearing a mask when working.
- Full vaccination against Covid-19 including Booster (when eligible) is strongly encouraged.
