Food Services Director - Nursing Home directs and oversees food service for patients, employees, and visitors in a nursing home environment. Develops, manages, and maintains food service policies and procedures in accordance with administrative directives and professional standards. - Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the facility
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care
- Supervise and lead a team of nurses, providing guidance and support
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth operations
- Create and implement care plans for patients, ensuring their individual needs are met
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and training as needed
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Stay up-to-date with medical advancements, regulations, and best practices in nursing```Qualifications```
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred
- Current state nursing license
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and care plans
- Experience working in a nursing home or assisted living facility is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and shift management responsibilities
