Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and teachable team member who can grow with our growing ministry. Must love working with students and have audio/visual and technical knowledge.
The Director of Student Ministries (50% of time) oversees all aspects of the Student Ministry. The Tech Director (50% of time) is responsible for ensuring that services and events across all facilities and ministries can use audio/visual/lighting/wireless technology effectively and strategically to enhance the experience of those attending. This position recruits, trains, and oversees all volunteers for these ministries.
Experience/Education:
· A college graduate with a degree in ministry and/or relevant experience
Student Ministry Responsibilities:
· Facilitate weekly student worship services as well as coordinating all logistical aspects of ministry.
· Recruit & equipping volunteer leaders to facilitate Small Groups for students.
· Recruit and oversee a volunteer to lead Sunday morning student group at the 10:30 a.m. service.
· Build relationships with students by attending school activities, sporting events, lunches, etc.
· Supervise volunteers through recruitment, placement, communication, organization, and training.
· Facilitate students serving on ministry teams and mission teams.
· Plan and coordinate regular special events.
· Support parents of students by addressing concerns, educating, and counseling.
Tech Responsibilities:
· Purchase and maintain all audio/video/lighting equipment.
· Recruit, train, schedule, and oversee the tech team for all services and special events.
· Oversee set up and tear down of the stage for rehearsals, services, and events.
· Stay up to date on current developments in audio/visual/lighting technology.
· Production of videos for use in services and advertising.
· Create sermon slides for weekly message.
· Purchase, maintain and repair all IT related hardware and software. This will include, but not be limited to, network, phone system, computers, and printers.
· Assist all staff as needed with troubleshooting devices owned by the church.
· Update the website as needed, including editing and uploading the latest message.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
· Attend weekly staff meetings.
· Prepare and maintain a ministry budget.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
