Transportation Aide

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Provides safe and timely transportation to and from appointments for the residents.
• Makes schedules of appointments and posts them on each wing.
• Manage other trips for the facility as deemed necessary by the supervisor, administrator, or designee.
• Safely loading / unload passengers
• Safely transport residents
• Assist in cleaning the van after transports
• Work closely with transportation director, activity director, and others to maintain appointment schedules and outside activities

Required Experience

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS :

• On-the-job training provided
• Valid Driver’s License required

REQUIRED EDUCATION :

Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent
